In 2009, Austin Block + Hardscape began its journey in Georgetown, Texas, establishing itself as a CMU block plant. The cornerstone of our operations was the Columbia 1600® CMU block production line, a robust system known for its efficiency and reliability. This initial setup allowed the company to produce a substantial volume of concrete masonry units (CMUs), laying the groundwork for its reputation in the industry.
Over the years, Austin Block + Hardscape has been a beacon of growth and innovation. A relentless focus on quality and efficiency led to the acquisition of a Quadra® production line, a significant upgrade that marked a new era for the company. The Quadra® line, renowned for its cutting-edge technology, increased production throughput by an impressive 400%, enabling the company to meet the growing demand for its block and paver solutions.
This expansion was not just about increasing volume; it also signified a broadening of our product range. We developed an extensive structural/standard and architectural masonry collection under the brand name MiriBuild. The MiriBuild products quickly gained recognition for their durability and aesthetic appeal, becoming a preferred choice for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects.
In addition to MiriBuild, Austin Block + Hardscape diversified into the hardscape segment. We introduced an extensive lineup of paver and retaining wall products branded as MiriScape. MiriScape hardscape paver solutions offer various design options catering to residential and commercial landscaping needs. Lastly, the company is an official licensee of the Premier 8™ retaining wall solution developed by Rockwood Retaining Walls®.

MiriBuild®
MiriCore is our standard line of concrete masonry units (CMU) and a core concrete building product that is ASTM C90 compliant for load-bearing units and ASTM C129 for non-load-bearing units. It is available in numerous shapes and five primary sizes, including 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, and solid units. Also ASTM C90 and C129 compliant, our MiriStone CMU offers a diverse selection of over 50 shapes and sizes, sixteen distinct colors, and four finishes: smooth, split face, shot blast, and burnish (ground face).
